8 goals 4 future - Eight Goals for the World's Future

In September 2000, all UN member countries agreed on eight development goals aimed at safeguarding our common future and ensuring sustainable world development.

EcoHimal turned this into an educational project based on the idea to present the millennium goals and the underlying global problems by means of new information technologies.

The project website illustrates these goals by means of Austrian development projects. The website   www.8goals4future.at provides an extensive array of factual information, photographs and audio-visual materials. The examples allow for an informative and diversified approach to this topic. In addition, didactic materials for teachers are available.

The Upper Austrian education network  Education Highway is a partner of this project.

Workshops for adults and students are offered in cooperation with  dekade.at.
